Get the most out of your Blood work!
Have you been told "your blood tests are normal" but you know something just isn’t right? Blood test results can provide a wealth of information about your health, but the key is to analyze your results based on "Functional" ranges and not the "Clinical ranges" provided by the lab. Examples of imbalances that can be revealed by a Functional Analysis of your blood work include: Blood sugar imbalances, Cardiovascular conditions, Metabolic syndrome, Digestive disturbances, Nutrient malabsorption, Adrenal health, Thyroid conditions, Bone loss, Nutrient deficiencies, Dehydration, and more.
Having a complete blood test is an important step in achieving your health goals. Don’t just settle for "Normal"! Find out how you can achieve "Optimal" health!

The purpose of spinal adjustments is to return the spine to a natural state of health and to reduce pain, muscle spasms, and nerve irritation, so you can enjoy your life pain free.
Chiropractic is a branch of healthcare that focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure – mainly the spine – and its function. Conditions commonly treated by chiropractors include back and neck pain, headaches, sports injuries and repetitive strains. Patients also seek treatment of pain associated with other conditions, such as arthritis.
Doctors of chiropractic receive both classroom and clinical training in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, biochemistry, pathology, nutrition, public health and other subjects. Chiropractic students spend four years learning how to adjust and manipulate the spine, joints, bones, muscles and connective tissues, such as the ligaments and tendons attached to bones and muscles. Following training, chiropractors must be licensed by the state to practice. Chiropractic does not use drugs or surgery in treatment.
If you are seeing or plan to see a chiropractor, be sure to inform your doctor or surgeon so that all members of your health care team are informed and working together
We understand the stress and pain patients are in following personal injury accidents. We analyze, diagnose, and create an individualized treatment plan for whiplash and soft tissue injuries. If you have a work injury, we help with that also. Most work injuries are caused by overuse and repetitive stress injuries. Over time, small tasks done with poor posture can lead to acute and chronic pain, which can result in reduced worker productivity, lost time from work, disability, and an inability to perform job tasks. We will thoroughly explain your treatment and update your insurance agency on your behalf.

Acupuncture is a well-known form of traditional Chinese medicine that has been practiced for over 3,000 years. The specific points used in acupuncture lie where Channels surface on the body and once needled can help redirect the flow of Qi (chee) where it is unbalanced, interrupted or insufficient. Qi, a person’s natural vital energy, influences physiological functioning of the body to promote the body’s ability to heal itself by flowing through channels. These Channels are specific pathways that are associated with internal organs and other physiological systems. Acupuncture is performed using extremely thin needles that are solid, flexible and disposable. It can be used to facilitate pain or disease caused by imbalanced Qi in the meridians and their respective physiological systems.
The practitioner can detect the imbalance of Qi by diagnosing energy flow, which is measured by examining pulse, the appearance of one’s tongue, medical history and tenderness along the meridian. As the needle begins to work, the patient may experience a dull/achy, warm, numb or tingling feeling around the area of insertion. Particularly rare side effects may include: dizziness, bruising, or light-headedness. Most patients feel heavy or sedated after treatment, indicating the relaxing of tight muscles.
Though most appointments last only between 30-60 minutes, a patient will notice significant differences within 2 to 3 treatments. Depending on the chronicity of pain, and the activity aggravating ones pain, one might need more treatments. Common disorders treated with acupuncture may include, but are not limited to: migraines/headaches, depression, anxiety, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, post-surgery swelling or pain, menstrual cycle dysfunctions, insomnia, eczema, and other pains within the entire body.
Dr. Thompson is capable of analyzing your individual situation and creating a custom pain relief and rehabilitation plan to benefit your health. He understands the importance of educating the patient on chiropractic care and/or acupuncture so that they can heal quickly. Dr. Thompson also teaches seminars all over the country to those in his field and loves what he is doing for the public and his peers.
